Woodfire Muar in Johor

"The restaurant is located near the main road of Sungai Abong bypass, easy to locate and need to alert the entrance. However there’s gravel route hidden nearby the building from the bypass, no worries if u missed the entrance. New restaurant, quite packed with seat arrangements. My friend made reservation for dinner and everything went smoothly arranged. Staffs are friendly and mostly helpful. The foods are looking scrumptious, especially the massive burgers with various fillings. I ordered mushroom burger and left surprised with how good it was. Portion size fairly matched the price for this area. Plastic gloves provided on the table- no worry if you are a messy eater. There’s something about the packaging bothers me. Cheese steak served in plain plastic container- seemed out of standard for the well known established restaurant. Presentation always matters. Please provide extra chilli/ tomato sauce sachets for each ala carte order-some may need extra flavour. Overall it was a pleasure having dinner here- the taste worth for repeat."

"Went out for brunch with my brother. It was a little challenging to find the store, even though I often go to Muar for cafés and other restaurants. The food was really good! I’ve been to the Bangi branch before, and the taste here is just the same. We tried the Smoked Burger, the Brisket Burger, some curly fries, an A&W Float, and a Strawberry Milkshake. The burgers were top tier! The drinks were okay, and the milkshake was a bit too sweet for me. Overall, it was a good experience Definitely coming back here again!"

"Went here yesterday and had a great time! The staff were super friendly and the food was so delicious. Portions were huge — my husband and in-laws loved it. We had the chicken stuffed with cheese, smoked beef, and some curly fries — all were seriously nice. The butter soda was really sweet, but I kinda loved the aftertaste. Yummy! Only downside was the number of flies inside the restaurant. They should definitely get a fly catcher — we kept having to shoo them away. Other than that, it was a solid experience and we’d definitely come again!"
